A band of 20 Harley-Davidson riders rode in solidarity in a rally which was organised on Sunday in New Delhi by Child Rights and You abbreviated as CRY. The rally was held to promote and protect children’s rights during the upcoming 2014 general election. CRY conducted the rally which spread over 50km from Gurgaon’s Cyber Hub to India Gate. Throughout the rally, they held banners displaying slogans which read, “Putting children first,” emphasizing the cause.

World of Talent, a group of drummers performed to stress the importance of child rights in the political manifestos of major parties. A flash mob of CRY volunteers performed for the same cause too. The rally was conducted as part of the NGO’s nationwide Vote for Child Rights campaign that started on November 13, 2013. The campaign aims to conduct more rallies, flash mobs and press conferences like the one in New Delhi, across the country in an effort to spread the message further.

CRY has collected an enormous 1.5 million pledges to bring the issue of child rights in India to the spotlight. The organisation has called for action to express zero tolerance towards violation of child rights.
