Honda recalls diesel variants of the City and the Mobilio

Honda Cars India Ltd (HCIL), has indicated a possibility that the fuel return pipes in the diesel variants of the Honda City and the Mobilio may come loose, which might result in fuel leakage and engine failure. HCIL has offered to replace the parts, free of cost at Honda dealerships across India from 19th December 2015 onwards. HCIL proposes to contact all City and Mobilio owners individually.

Customers can check if their vehicle is covered under this campaign by entering their Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) at www.hondacarindia.com. The fault affects 64,428 units of the City diesel manufactured between December 2013 and July 2015, and 25,782 units of the Mobilio diesel, manufactured between June 2014 and July 2015.
