The Grand i10 was a runaway success for Hyundai in India racking over a lakh in sales in less than a year. The second largest car maker in the country had launched the Grand i10 in September 2013, finding a niche between the i10 and the i20, without cannibalizing the sales of either. The vehicle won multiple awards in 2013 including Indian Car of the Year (ICOTY 2014) with 1.1 lakh owners on Indian roads. To celebrate its successful first year, Hyundai Indian today introduced the Grand i10 ‘SportZ Edition’.

Priced at Rs 5,11,550 for the petrol and Rs 5,98,554 for the diesel (ex-showroom, Delhi), the SportZ Edition is essentially is a cosmetic upgrade like most of the anniversary edition launches in India. The special edition features 14-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, steering mounted audio and Bluetooth controls, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a rear spoiler, blackout B-pillars, along with body graphics. A black and red dual-tone finish can be seen all over the dashboard, seats, door panels, and around the gear lever. The powertrains remain untouched with 1.1-litre CRDi diesel engine developing 70bhp and 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine developing 81bhp. The Grand i10 also returns an impressive fuel efficiency figure of 24kmpl for the diesel and 18.9kmpl for the petrol.
