JLR India inaugurates dealership in Raipur
Jaguar Land Rover India inaugurated their 20th dealership in the country in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The first showroom in the state is located on NH-6, Ring Road 1, Raipur and is operated by Satyam Balajee Automotives (P) Ltd. The new state-of-the-art showroom has the capacity to exhibit 8 cars and is spread over a total area of 50,000 square feet.
Speaking on the occasion, Rohit Suri, Vice President, Jaguar Land Rover, India said, “I am delighted to be opening our first showroom in the State of Chhattisgarh. The 3S facility in Raipur is the largest among the premium car dealerships in the state and reflects our commitment to set a new benchmark for customer experience.”
The new showroom will sell the entire range of Jaguar cars including the Jaguar XF, XJ, XKR and F-Type. The Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, Range Rover Evoque, Discovery 4 and Freelander 2 will be available from Land Rover’s stable. With the launch of the new dealership, Jaguar Land Rover India now operates 20 outlets in 18 major cities across India. The British brand, under Tata Motors, managed healthy sales of 2913 units, registering a 22 per cent growth in 2013 over the previous year. With the launch of the Range Rover Sport and F-Type Coupe, this year’s sales figures are expected to take an upward trajectory. The brand is also developing the XE sedan and the global unveil is expected at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. The XE will take on BMW’s 3 Series, Audi A4 and the Mercedes-Benz C-class, and is expected to be a volume driver for JLR.
