Along with this Citroën’s premium brand, DS will also feature new leadership; Yves Bonnefont will take over as the CEO of the DS brand. Citroën feels that DS needs a boost to develop as a premium brand in its own right. Mr. Bonnefont, who is currently serving as Director of Strategy for the Group and Deputy CEO of the Citroën brand, will take over alongside Ms. Jackson on June 1, 2014.

“We currently face two strategic challenges: to continue building and accelerating the success of the DS, and to deploy the new positioning of the Citroën brand worldwide. We will do this by making DS a brand in its own right, under the leadership of Yves Bonnefont, who played a key role in differentiating the brands. The renewal of the Citroën brand will be driven by Linda Jackson, who has already addressed a number of challenges in the automotive industry. So, after five years at the head of Citroën, I am proud to be handing over to Linda Jackson and Yves Bonnefont, who both share the same experience and the passion for all things automotive,” said Frédéric Banzeta acting CEO of the Citroën brand.
