Mahindra offers automatic transmission and 4WD on 2015 Scorpio

Starting today, Mahindra offers an a 6-speed automatic transmission on their Scorpio SUV. Available on the range-topping S10 variant of the vehicle, the automatic gearbox is also available with 4WD, a class-first, according to the company. The automatic 2WD S10 variant starts at Rs 13.13 lac ex-showroom, Delhi.

The Scorpio was the first Indian SUV to offer an automatic transmission back in 2008, and with the new Scorpio offering much in terms of comfort, safety, and driver aids, the auto variant should make an interesting choice. More so since it comes just a few days after Hyundai announced it’s Creta SUV with a diesel automatic variant at a slightly higher Rs 13.5 lac price point.
