Honda India’s Brio based MPV, the Mobilio, will launch in India in a few months according to the newly launched Honda Mobilio microsite. The MPV was first showcased at the 2014 Auto Expo and garnered substantial response from the crowds.

The website doesn’t reveal anymore than we already know about the Mobilio but does have some images of the MPV’s interiors and exteriors. Based on these images and the model presented at the Auto Expo, we can clearly see that the third row of passengers has a decent amount of leg room, something missing in other MPVs in the segment. The boot also offers respectable space and the rear seats fold down to expose more room for luggage. We expect the quality of the interiors to remain the same as what we we have already seen on the Amaze and Brio. The grey and beige colour combinations adds to the airiness of the cabin.

The exterior is well chalked out with the fornt of the car resembling the Brio/Amaze styling but with a new grille design and slightly re-designed headlamps. The rear section is cohesive to the entire design with the most striking feature being the BMW-esque tail lamps.

Engine options are still a question mark though we expect the Mobilio to sport the same engines as its sedan sibling, the Amaze, which comes with a 1.2-litre i-VTEC 87bhp petrol motor and a 1.5-litre i-DTEC 99bhp diesel mill.
