Mercedes promised to deliver 15 new products in India by the end of the year, and they’ll soon deliver with the launch of the New Mercedes-Benz A class. Although the A-class we will see on the 8th of December is a facelift, thus not exactly ‘new’, we do get some worthwhile changes. There will be optional LED headlamps, a new front bumper, LED tail lamps, a diamond grille and new exhaust tips at the rear. A notable new addition is Apple Carplay compatibility for iPhone users and Mirrorlink for other phones that support it. Engines are carried over from the previous model: the 2.2l diesel in the 200 CDI and the 1.6l petrol in the 180 Sport, both utilising a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox.

But you’re probably wondering about this wild green colour. Mercedes has confirmed that the facelifted A-class will be available in this shade among others, but could not confirm the timing of its availability. More news next week.
