While Skoda India discontinued the Fabia last year, internationally, the Czech manufacturer is prepping to reveal the latest edition of its premium hatchback. From the sketch supplied by Skoda, we can clearly see that the face of the car follows the VisionC’s radical design.

The large trapezoidal grille with vertical black slats, the Skoda logo prominent on the creased bonnet and the angular headlamps, all are similar to the VisionC concept that was displayed at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. Whether the rear will resemble the current Fabia or will sport the ultra thin tail-lamps and beefy rear bumper remains to be seen.

The next-generation Skoda Fabia is 90mm wider and stands 30mm lower than the on-sale model. Skoda will offer completely new interiors which will be versatile and can be tailored to individual tastes.

Skoda will probably showcase a production ready version sometime early next year.
