Pune to get Triumph showroom on April 30

After the recent inauguration of their Kochi showroom, Triumph Motorcycles is all set to launch its Pashan, Pune dealership on April 30, 2014. Well-known dealership BU Bhandari has been charged with its operation. This will be Triumph’s fourth showroom, the other three dealerships being in Hyderabad, Bangalore and Kochi.

The Pune dealership will sell the Bonneville, Bonneville T100, Thruxton, Tiger 800 XC, Tiger Explorer, Speed Triple ABS, Street Triple ABS, Rocket III Roadster, Thunderbird Storm, Daytona 675R launched last year and the Daytona 675 ABS which was launched at the Auto Expo in February 2014. The prices for the Triumph range start at Rs 5.90 lakh for the Bonneville and go up to Rs 20.5 lakh for the range-topping Rocket III Roadster.

The British marque has had a chequered history in India after an abortive entry into the market at the 2012 Auto Expo. Triumph re-entered the country in November last year and bagged more than hundred bookings even before the inauguration of their first two dealerships. The manufacturer is planning to launch additional dealerships in Chennai, Ahmedabad and Delhi soon, of which the Mumbai and Pune dealerships have already started accepting bookings.
