Owning a Royal Enfield isn’t just about owning a retro-bike, but about what the rider is made of and how they are able to handle their bikes. This year’s Royal Enfield Tour of Rajasthan will surely test the riders as they travel through the Thar desert. The ride will gegin on Feruary 23 from Jaipur will riders passing through the beautiful Rajasthani countryside, hitting cities like Ajmer, Mahansar, Bikaner, Jamba, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, on the way. Covering a total of 2210km by March 4, riders will circle back to Ajmer and then to Jaipur, having honed ther riding skills through some challenging situations.

It won’t all be tough and dangerous as the terrain will cary, with a mix of smooth highways and winding country roads. The more difficult bits will be traversing sand dunes, hills, woods, and a dried salt lake bed. The riders will also pass through fields of battle, where the Indian army pushed back its opponents during the 1971 war. A special treat for the riders will be going through Pali, a village in Rajasthan known for its Bullet Baba temple. Believed to help distressed riders, the bike and its deceased master’s blessings would be quite beneficial for any rider.
