The Honda Hornet 160R, first displayed at Honda Revfest in Aug 2015, is on sale now. Just like Mercedes, Honda delivers its 15th product at the end of the year with the Hornet 160R. The motorcycle sports a 163cc engine, Combi Brake System (CBS) and dual petal disc brakes (optional rear). The ‘x’ shaped tail light is the most eye-catching design feature on the bike. Honda has made an effort to give the Hornet a bit of sporty credibility with its 140mm tyre and 5-spoke split alloy wheels, but that’s about the size of it.

The Honda Hornet 160R outputs 15.6hp @ 8500rpm and a max torque of 14.76Nm @ 6500rpm. It comes in five colours: Neo orange metallic, sports red, pearl amazing white, pearl night star black, pearl siren blue. The Hornet 160R comes in two variants: Standard and CBS, where CBS combines both front and rear with Combi Brake System (CBS). You can buy the Honda Hornet 160R Standard version at a price of Rs 79,900 and the CBS version at a price of Rs 84,400 (ex showroom Delhi).
