US prices announced for Kawasaki’s Ninja H2
Kawasaki U.S.A. has announced the prices for their new hyperbike, the Ninja H2, on their website. The street-spec 197bhp Ninja H2 will cost $25,000 (Rs 15.37 lakh, excluding duties and tax) while the track-only 296bhp H2R will set you back $50,000 (Rs 30.73 lakh). Media in the UK is reporting that these prices are much less than the expected price of the supercharged hyperbike in the country, though various factors can inluence different pricing in different countries.

The track-only Ninja H2R will be lighter, and have 100bhp more[/caption]
Considering that the supercharged 998cc hyperbike sets a new benchmark in the segment, the pricing isn’t all that outrageous. The 2015 Yamaha YZF-R1, with its 998cc in-line 4-cylinder puts out the same 197bhp, and costs just $16,490 (Rs 10.1 lakh), while the 2015 Ducati 1299 Panigale with its 202bhp 1285cc 90-degree twin cylinder motor, is expected to be priced at $26,800 (Rs 16.5 lakh).
Don’t expect an India price any time soon.
