Just like the characters in my upcoming debut book, I am starting a new adventure. There may be alligators waiting at many points to gobble me up but I will figure out a way to slide right by and keep on going because that is what you do when you want to see a dream come to fruition.
You put your thoughts into action and plan out your route the best you can. Sometimes the terrain requires taking well placed baby steps while other times you have to take a running leap. Be prepared for both.
There is a great Zen proverb which sums it up nicely.
“If we are facing in the right direction, all we have to do is keep on walking.”
