Want more clients & money? More income and more impact?

Here’s the truth that’s holding you back:

You’re probably not as visible as you think you are.

Have you heard — and really let sink in — that people need to see something 7 TIMES before they even REMEMBER it (much less act on it)?

Seven times!

Add in the fact that not everyone (in fact, only a small percentage of “everyone”) sees everything you post anyway (because of algorithms, news feeds, etc.), and you’ve got an opportunity to be WAY more visible — without being annoying or “salesy!”

Here are four common roadblocks to visibility and their simple solutions.

1. Lack of Strategy

You‘re feeling overwhelmed about the specifics of HOW to get consistently visible.

I hear this a lot, but I want you to know: it IS possible to become consistently visible, in a way that leads to paying clients, in just a few minutes a day!

Instead of that mindless scrolling on your social media platform of choice that inevitably leads to you feeling unmotivated or overwhelmed…

I highly recommend that you build out your content ahead of time, in a batch (you can start with one week at a time), so that all you have to do is copy and paste it from your document, post it, then respond to other peoples’ posts before you get outta there and on with your productive day!

Let’s say, for example, that you want to use Facebook groups, because you know they’re a great place to build real relationships.

You could post your content and respond just once a day if you wanted, for 30 minutes max.

You could delete the Facebook app from your phone and only engage when you sit down at your computer with intention.

How much extra time and, more importantly, brain space would that create for you? Space to come up with creative and strategic ideas in your business, get things done that you know have been holding you back, and build individual relationships that lead to clients?

2. Lack of Confidence

Maybe we just don’t know if what we have to offer is any good, if people will want it, or if WE are even good enough/qualified enough/able enough for people to take us seriously, to help our clients get the results we’re talking about.

This is a HUGE topic but it’s SO important that you know that if you’re feeling this way, you CAN train your brain to believe and think differently.

People say to me all the time, “I could never do what you do! Just get on video and talk, LIVE?!?! Hold a webinar?!?! Go on a podcast or on TV? No way!!!”

I used to say the same thing, and now I honestly love it!

But 2 years ago, that was not the case. I thought if I was going to do a live stream or a webinar, I had to be very calm and straightforward (and frankly, boring) because that’s what I thought would make people think I was professional.

Turns out, that couldn’t be further from the truth, and doubling my revenue year on year has tracked with my decision to do this:

I re-owned my voice. I rediscovered who I really was. And I started by just experimenting with showing a more relaxed side of me to more than just my inner “Circle of Trust.”

The result? Women started saying things like, “I love your energy!,” and then becoming high-paying, ideal clients left and right BECAUSE of the way I was showing up as my real, authentic, genuine, WEIRD, self! Plus, on my end, it energized me rather than draining me, and built my confidence even more, because I knew I could grow my business by being myself — and who doesn’t want that?

If you were to go back and watch some of my early live streams, you’d see a huge difference in the way I showed up then versus how I show up now. But THAT’S OK! I still got clients at the beginning of my business because I was consistent. You’re allowed to learn along the way, and you will evolve.

It all STARTS with looking at why you’re holding yourself back and doing WHATEVER YOU NEED TO DO to build that confidence in yourself, because it is a learnable skill.

How do you build it? By taking action. And by doing something new. It’s really that simple.

3. Lack of Faster Results

Sure, maybe someone had a post blow up. But I guarantee that it wasn’t the first thing they did in business. They first had to do the work of figuring out who their person was, what their person wanted to hear, where their person was hanging out, and what to offer that person who would find it valuable.

So there’s ALWAYS more behind-the-scenes work than you see. It’s like the iceberg analogy — most of it is unseen.

This is where support can be key, like someone (or someones!) to encourage you and pick you back up when you’re feeling down.

I’m an encourager by nature (I used to send secret encouragement notes to people when I was a kid) and I know that having that support in the entrepreneurial journey is KEY, because we’re building businesses we’re passionate about so that we can enjoy our lives, right?

4. Lack of Knowing What to Say

Here’s a hack I resisted for YEARS that has changed the way I operate on a daily basis:

Batching my content ahead of time (as I mentioned earlier).

Yes, everyone talks about this.

This is nothing new.

And yet..it took me years to actually DO it regularly.

How about you?

For a long time, I would get up, think about what I wanted to say that day, and then write it up in my Facebook group. An hour later, I’d be relieved that I delivered something of value, but I’d already be feeling behind because of the time I’d committed to just one post.

My mom is great about working ahead. I did not inherit that gene; declaring for years that I “worked better under pressure” and banging out AP English papers the night before like a boss. That worked for me as a dorky teenager with adrenaline on my side, but now I’m all about creating systems, structures, and processes that allow me to be present in my life, for my daughter, for my clients, and in a way that GIVES me energy rather than drains it.

Creating space for your inspiration and planning and working ahead might take some structure and accountability, thought and work to find what works best for you, but it is THE solution to the nagging, never-ending “I don’t know what to say” syndrome.

Here’s the good news —NONE of this has to be hard. It doesn’t have to feel weird or icky or “salesy.” Because when you post value consistently and make your offers consistently, your people WILL see it often enough to notice, remember you, and reach out to take advantage of your offer.
