Keeping a gratitude journal or taking time daily to notice things you are grateful for can be life changing for most people.

I’ve experienced receiving more positive things come my way (opportunities/new ideas/new connections) the more I practice gratitude regularly.

Here’s some fun facts you should know about practicing gratitude:

  1. Gratitude increases mental strength by reducing stress and playing a major role in overcoming trauma.
  2. Gratitude can boost romantic and professional relationships by inspiring acts of kindness, you won’t be surprised to hear that being grateful reduces aggression and enhances empathy.
  3. Gratitude makes us healthier by decreasing pain, reducing bad health symptoms, increasing time sleep quality and extending your lifespan by a few months or even years.
  4. Gratitude improves self-esteem by reducing social comparisons.
  5. Gratitude is all-inclusive. Good days give you happiness and bad days give you wisdom. Both are essential.
