A Letter to all Humans: Your Life is Not an Accident
After knowing, working and learning about so many people, their lives, their stories, paths not taken, dreams not followed, lives not fully lived, I find myself writing this letter, to each of you. You, the one that I have already crossed paths with, you the one that I will someday get to know and you, the one that I might never meet but is going through this experience we call “being human”.
This is for you.
I see you walking around, looking down, terrified to be on the spot. Hiding behind half-way smiles, behind an “I’m okay”. Hoping to pass by, unseen, not wanting to “bother” anyone. Caring for how others feel instead of how you feel. Wanting to help everyone but forgetting to help yourself. You feel like you don’t deserve what you have, that you are not worthy, not enough.
Trust me today with this: You came to this world for a reason. You deserve to be here and you have lessons to learn, value to add and people to love.
How can I help you see how wonderful you are, how beautiful your smile is and how incredibly warm it feels to be around you?
Start loving you how you deserved to be loved and the world will notice. Everyone around you will look up and be distracted by the light that shines when you pass by. People will start wondering what is going on with you: Have you started working out? Are you eating better? Did you fall in love? They won’t know, but they will wonder…
They will wonder why you have started to walk taller, to wear a contagious smile that wasn’t there before, they’ll try to get a glimpse of your eyes in hopes to read what’s hiding behind that lightness in you. That quiet and peaceful energy.
And one of them will ask, what have you done? Tell me about it!
And what will you say?
My dream is that you say: I have found myself. The better me. The one that has been living within my heart. Patiently waiting to get invited to lead, to live, to love.
And I am here to stay.
This is my new me.
You are a gift to the world. Give it your best every day.
Why I do what I do? I do it because I believe in people’s potential. I believe people can achieve so much more than they allow themselves to think, through their hearts and minds.
