When you really think about it, are you choosing for the things you want in life?
Any time you want to create something new in your life, whether that’s a personal change or something you wish to manifest, there’s a point where you have to look at where you are — and aren’t — choosing for what you want.
Wanting and choosing for are not the same things.
There’s a real vibrational difference between you saying, “I intend ‘x’ to happen,” and “I choose for ‘x’ to happen.”
Door #2 hits you in the gut. Choosing for puts you in the driver’s seat.
Choosing for lands you right in your 2nd chakra where you need to look at how willing you are to open a door and walk across the threshold. It’s when you’re working in the realm of “choosing for” that you realize for this “thing” to happen, a whole bunch of other things might need to change first.
Start with you. Always.
To get where you want to get to, no matter what that transformation is, you need to learn how to be a new version of you; the YOU who can embody the life you seek or the thing you wish to have.
This is how you create, by first becomming the one who can have what you seek.
In order to have that new job, you might need to claim your power in new ways to be worthy of it. To start that new company you might need to become a leader; one who inspires staff and/or your customers. To get that raise, you might first need to learn how to be a good steward of that kind of money.
No matter the change you seek, there’s always more that you’re choosing for than meets the eye. And that, my friend, is where most of us get stuck… choosing for the deeper change.
Choose for what’s underneath.
Sometimes the first obstacle to getting what your heart and spirit desires is getting to the point of truly choosing for something to actually be so and recognizing the deeper work that is needed to get where you want to get to.
You have to get out of your head and any dreamy idea of “wouldn’t it be great if…” and fully embody the realization that you’re choosing to grow, in order to get what and where you want. You are choosing to look at your stuff; choosing for YOU to be different.
Gulp. Deciding to deal with your stuff can be scary as shit. Even though you want what’s on the other side of it… really, really bad.
It’s easy to fall in love with the idea of change.
If something you really, really want isn’t happening for you, then it’s time to look at how committed you are to the change you seek.
It’s easy to fall in love with the idea of change. Actually doing it can be a different story.
It’s time for some truth-telling; ask yourself this:
Am I choosing for what’s stuck to truly change? Am I willing to change to get something new to happen? Am I doing everything I need to do to change things…to get what I want… to move forward?
It’s OK to realize that you’re not. Honestly, I’d worry about you if you didn’t recognize that you might be teetering when it comes to your own transformation.
But when you feel stuck, start asking questions.
Start asking if you’re choosing for what it will take to truly move you forward. Ask yourself if you’re working at a deep enough level of change. Let every choice bring you back into the reality that you are choosing to grow… and in that you’ll get what you need to live that.
