Before You Do, Ask Yourself Why

If you are reaching for something new to change the way you feel about where you are, you may want to think twice.

So many times we fill emptiness with new things. We start a new business, find a new relationship, move to a new house, start a new job; all in search of something that will make us happy.

You don’t chase happiness; you become happy. When what you do is a product of who you are happiness is a given.

If you find yourself unhappy, before you bail on your relationship, quit your job, start a new business, or get involved in the latest “work from home opportunity of a lifetime,” ask yourself why?

If what you are about to do is an extension of who you are; an expression of your completeness, then by all means go for it. But if you are reaching for something new to change the way you feel about your present life, and/or yourself, I suggest you think twice.

We Follow Ourselves.

Wherever we go, “it,” our surroundings, will soon look the same unless we arrive there different. You will burn through opportunity after opportunity until you realize it’s not something you are looking for, it’s someone; and that someone is you!

You can never find yourself by covering yourself up with other things. What are you about to do? Before you do, ask yourself why.
