Bucket bottom…

Many years ago, a wealthy friend called me seeking advice, “I am broke and I don’t know how to manage this reality.” The theory of relativity flashed forward as I surmised his broke is not my broke, but wisdom speak came forward…since he said he had only a single hundred dollar bill left, I suggested that he tear it in half and gift his two daughters…he gulped and sighed, then I’ll have nothing, but at least if the stay together, they can pool their resource…

I then suggested that he empty all of the other scraps of paper from his wallet so it was truly empty…he complied and restated his long-term trust of my advice…onward…

My friend went forward with his empty wallet for two weeks and was blessed with the consummation of a business deal that netted him several hundred thousand dollars…he called me…

“…how did you know this was coming?” I told him “an empty wallet can only be filled…we occasionally have to clear our pallets to taste the next bite.”

Daily I look to the bottom of my buckets and am never surprised by what I find…
