Here is why we should never wish for an easy life. (We need to “fail” even if it hurts.)

Here is why we should never wish for an easy life. (We need to “fail” even if it hurts.)

Your Metamorphosis

We are all on our own special journey of life that has it up and downs. There is no set time when everyone will “wake up”. We will wake up at different times. We need to learn not to judge others for not being where you are at or where you think they should be at in life. All that we should do is lend a helping hand in a tactful and positive way. Here is a story that I love to share with others about Metamorphosis,

Often time in life we find ourselves in a stage that seems to be a standstill. No matter how hard we try to move forward we seem to only propel backward. These are the times that create the most strength for us. When we feel as if we are below rock bottom. When no matter who tries to help us. It seems to do more harm than good.

It isn’t due to them trying to set us back. Nor is it because we are self-sabotaging ourselves. We go through these times to learn what we can endure. To realize what it truly is that matters for us. God/Allah or whatever you may call it isn’t out to get us. Everything that is happening is in order for us to get to where we need to be most in life.

When I was an adolescent I was homeless off and on from 12–18 and I would think I must have done something really awful to make God punish me in this way (Especially so young.) Now, looking back on these times I wouldn’t trade it for the world. Sure, I had help along the way. Freinds house that I would stay/live at. And people who cared for me. But, I was able to learn how the world works at an earlier age. I was able to mature quicker to be the person I am today. Everything that has happened in the past was leading up to this moment right now. To you reading this article right now.

Not only was it able to give me strength for when times we became harder. It also allows me to empower others. We must use our hardships to become our best selves and turn that weakness into our strengths. To use it as a fuel that can light other people going through tough times touches as well.

“Someone found a cocoon for a butterfly. One day a small opening appeared, he sat and watched the butterfly for several hours as it struggled to force its body through the little hole. Then it seemed to stop making any progress, It appeared stuck.

The person decided to help the butterfly and with a pair of scissors, he cut open the cocoon. The butterfly then emerged easily. But something was strange. The butterfly had a swollen body and shriveled wings. The person watched the butterfly expecting it to take on its correct proportions. But nothing changed.

The butterfly stayed the same. It was never able to fly. In his kindness and haste, the person did not realize that the butterfly’s struggle to get through the small opening of the cocoon is nature’s way of forcing fluid from the body of the butterfly into its wings so that it would be ready for flight.

When we help and teach others it is essential to recognize when people need to do things for themselves. Sometimes the struggle makes all the difference in the world.”

Everyone is in a different stage in their lives, we need to be there for support and advice, not in a controlling way. In a way that empowers them to be able to pull it off themselves. We must always remember wherever we are in our life, it is the exactly where we should be.

Use everything to grow into who you want to be in X amount of time. When we are older, don’t seek out to be like someone else but to be like who you want to be at that time. We can always become better. The sad thing is when we limit ourselves and place others ahead of us, we don’t live to our fullest potential. We begin to live on theirs.

You can do whatever your heart desires, never give up on yourself. Be like the caterpillar with patience because you too will grow into a more beautiful butterfly. Always seek to become better every day, as the butterfly wings become stronger everyday so must we!

“We are all butterflies. Earth is our chrysalis.”

LeeAnn Taylor

Even if we reflect on any protagonist, hero, and or your everyday person. We will see some kind of obstacle that they had to overcome to save the day. Our lives are not much different. We are the lead character and director of our story. And what good would a story be without a little climax, adversity, and victory?

Every moment of the day we have to power to either let life run us. Or for us to run it. A majority of it lies in our goals that we have in life. Happiness is a choice that we choose to embrace.

Here is a perfect video that not only touches base on this subject. But as well as my let downs and insights on how to become our greatest Verizon.

Let’s make today the first day of the rest of our lives!

As always.

We are all in this together but it all starts with you! You are creating history!
