I Feel Like I Didn’t Do Anything Today.

A page from the chronicles of a working entrepreneur mom.

Today, I didn’t do anything.

I got up, showered, got dressed, made breakfast and lunch for my kids, and negotiated familial peace treaties before 8am.

But I didn’t do anything today.

I took my kids to school, meditated, helped a client revamp the positioning for her website and wrote sales copy.

But I didn’t do anything today.

I shot a video for my business, posted to social media, and wrote and designed a pro-bono brochure for our religious school education department.

But I didn’t do anything today.

I set up two new business meetings for my coaching and sales businesses, and coached a client.

But I didn’t do anything today.

I picked up my kids from their schools, carpooled them to activities, did homework, and put them to bed.

But I didn’t do anything today.

I made tomorrow’s lunches, cleaned up the house, researched and booked spring break flights, and researched and booked spring activities for my kids.

But I didn’t do anything today.

Maybe tomorrow I’ll get something done.

Are you a mom running a business but at the end of the day aren’t sure if you got anything done? Well this one’s for you.

Maybe we’re being a little to hard on ourselves.
