“Only put off until tomorrow what you are willing to die having left undone.”

This does NOT mean work till you drop.

Honestly, it comes down to living in the moment and doing that thing you want to do. To me, it means not worrying about yesterday or tomorrow. It means, what is going on now? Today. Does it mean don’t plan tomorrow? No. It means manage what is right in front of you and then plan tomorrow based on that. Go ahead and have a planner. Plan ~ but, stop micromanaging yourself into NOT doing.

Because we are putting so much pressure on ourselves for results of any kind, we are reversing the positive end result we truly seek.

Produce, produce, produce. We must produce. But what if the act of producing is the accomplishment?

I have spent a great deal of time learning about content management to boost my rankings on social media. So much time ~ we’re talking a year of content development ~ I stopped writing.

Write. Just write. It’s what I love and yet, I wasn’t writing. Then I came upon Medium when accepted as a contributor for Thrive Global. I was amazed at all the “writing” happening on Medium! Then I read something that smacked me right dab in the middle of my forehead. If I want to be a writer, I have to write. Not that I didn’t know this, but gosh, I mean, who will read my writing if I don’t boost my social media rankings? “No one will you idiot, because you’re not writing!” I screamed at myself. Creatives must create! Thanks @ToddBrison

Since I had the “aha moment,” I’ve been writing 100 words a day, almost every day. Yep, it’s hard. Some days I just don’t. Then I get over it and do better the next day. The less I pick on myself, the better I do. I’m not being lazy, just prioritizing, and being OK with doing what I can.

Anything I have left undone will be OK, if tomorrow never comes. Think about that one for a bit.
