“Teams Create Dreams” 5 Leadership Lessons With Cameo Gore
“Teams create dreams. You cannot do it alone. Effective team building extends your ability to create more, scale, and profit in your business.”
I had the pleasure of interviewing — Cameo Gore success strategist, CEO of cameogore.com, and co-founder of Ignite and Expand programs and transformational events
Yitzi: Thank you so much for doing this with us! What is your “backstory”?
Over a decade ago my life was a mess, I was in a challenging relationship and ended up engaged only to have it fall apart. I began to question life on a bigger scale and ended up on an adventure in Sedona Arizona that completely opened my eyes, mind, and heart. Everything changed in my life so quickly afterward I literally manifested my (now) husband in 24 hours after leaving Sedona and stepping off of a plane in Las Vegas. I learned the truth of how we can powerfully co-create our realities and now teach this to others!
Yitzi: Can you share the funniest or most interesting story that happened to you since you started your company
Yes, when I first started my company I had never been entrepreneur per se, always working for corporate it took time to wrap my head around how I was going to make what I had made in my corporate career. I was going after my passion and my calling but profit was still high in my mind. Within 6 months I had a record income month surpassing anything I had ever earned in a single month in my life. It was funny because in a way I didn’t believe it was possible and it proved to me that we are all way more powerful than we believe in creating our realities.
Yitzi: What do you think makes your company stand out? Can you share a story?
Totally. What makes my company stand out is that we are an incubator for leadership and legacy and attract the most incredible women from across the globe to uplevel, break their glass money ceilings, and ignite to their next level of success. All of these women are change makers and passionate about what they do! They are also intuitive and tapped in on a deeper level. It’s truly incredible and I can say that working with this type of woman makes my company stand out! I also think I am one of the few that helps entrepreneurs accelerate by helping them develop their intuition in order to scale their business! When women are empowered in all things money related there is so much that can happen! In the past week 3 clients have doubled and one TRIPLED their income from the systems I teach! One woman is living location free now and is truly living the life she had always imagined……this can be for everyone!
Yitzi: None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?
My grandfather was an inspiration to me and was a lifetime entrepreneur as he was always his own person and always knew he wanted to be his own boss. He started various businesses from scratch and without a ton of back knowledge on the how made them profit. He truly showed me that anything was possible and everything was “figureoutable” with the right attitude and mindset.
Yitzi: How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?
My ultimate why is to leave a legacy and a lasting impact on humanity. RIght now I am involved in several humanitarian efforts including an orphanage in Mexico and building homes for the homeless in Nicaragua. My dream is to have my own foundation to fund these types of relief efforts.
Yitzi: What are your “5 things I wish someone told me before I launched my Start-Up” and why. (Please share a story or example for each.)
That being a solopreneur is not easy. I thrived when I was working with huge teams in corporate. It took time to build my own team and the feeling of working alone sometimes helped me to create our in person leadership and networking events Ignite and Expand.
That a limiting mindset will sabotage your success. I had no idea what “mindset” meant when I started. I have now effectively scaled my business over and over with multiple revenue streams by continuing to shatter my glass ceilings to new possibilities
Developing a supportive community of like minded people can greatly impact you. I once heard that we are each the equivalent of the 5 people we spend the most time with. For me part of what I created is what I needed! An incredible community of women who have each other’s backs and are on the same path of success in life on all levels.
Your health is just as important as your biz. Energy is everything, physically and mentally and spiritually. Being fit and healthy is a catalyst for success because energy follows energy.
Teams create dreams. You cannot do it alone. Effective team building extends your ability to create more, scale, and profit in your business.
Yitzi: Some of the biggest names in Business, VC funding, Sports, and Entertainment read this column. Is there a person in the world, or in the US whom you would love to have a private breakfast or lunch with, and why? He or she might see this. :-)
I would love for Mark Cuban to see this. I was able to meet him on the 4th on July a few years ago. He is an inspiration to me for giving entrepreneurs a boost when it comes to pursuing their dreams. He’s also completely cool and approachable. I would love to ask him more questions about business and life!
Yitzi: This was very inspiring. Thank you so much for joining us!
