Curious about the day-to-day life of an Engineer at Publicis Sapient (PS) India?

We grabbed some virtual coffee and chatted with two of our talented Engineers, Samridh Shashwat, Software Development Manager and Tushar Arora, Software Development Engineer to get the inside scoop.

Let’s dive straight into what makes PS India such a vibrant hub for Engineers — a place where you can accelerate your skills and growth.

Samridh, a champion of collaborative Product Engineering, shares his thoughts:

“The real magic at PS India happens because of its people. We ditch the silo mentality and work in these incredible cross-functional teams with designers, product managers, and other specialists. It’s like having a built-in brain trust! Everyone brings their A-game, and together we create solutions that push boundaries.”

Samridh emphasizes the importance of clear communication, shared goals, and regular feedback as the secret sauce for his success. He also mentioned the perks of cross-functional meetings and recognition programs that keep his team spirit high.

Speaking of pushing boundaries, Samridh recently led a team on a complex project for a major E-commerce client. They migrated the entire system from a legacy platform to a cutting-edge microservices architecture. This wouldn’t have been possible without the seamless collaboration between Engineers, checkout specialists, and everyone involved.

Tushar, who thrives on tackling complex challenges, chimed in with his perspective:

“For me, it’s all about continuous learning and growth. PS India fosters a culture of learning that keeps me ahead of the curve. Plus, the projects we work on, are anything but boring. We’re talking cutting-edge stuff like Data Analytics platforms and next-gen AI solutions.”

Tushar recently tackled a project, building a complex data platform for a major client. His key to success? Seamless collaboration (you have heard it before, right?). Engineers, designers, product managers, and even the client — everyone worked together to overcome technical hurdles and deliver a product that exceeded expectations.

Samridh and Tushar’s tips to anyone considering a Software Development Engineer (SDE) role at PS:

Tushar: “Showcase your passion for technology and problem-solving. Highlight projects and experiences that demonstrate your initiative and drive.”

Samridh: “For all those who aspire to have a ground full of diverse challenges and freedom to choose technology, PS is the place for their dreams! With growing AI now modelled deep into our day-to-day deliveries, it’s like a human-machine partnership, for those who aspire to be next-gen Engineers.”
