CDC Still Protecting Interests Instead of People

The CDC finally acknowledged that Covid is still here, which is amazing, but they still can’t nail the comms:

Dr. Lucky Tran added the corrections on this one to obliterate the two tiers of prevention. The CDC still have hand-washing as a priority despite also acknowledging that the VIRUS IS AIRBORNE. It’s great to get vaccinated and stay home if you’re sick, but we can still get and spread Covid when vaccinated, and about half of transmission is from people who feel perfectly healthy at the moment. Also, lots of people just can’t stay home because some companies demand they come to work despite being sick. Treatment would be great, but it’s largely inaccessible or ineffective. However, down there in that second tier, MASKS WORK! We can stop this virus (and others) in its tracks if more people wear a well-fitting N95 whenever in public. That should be number one, but that will affect the economy or some-such bullshit.

Here’s an updated version from Scott Squires, who divided the sections into prevention and post-infection:

Dr. J. Offir explains,

“Note that this wasn’t an accidental blunder. The CDC is anti-mask and anti-testing, and is deliberately minimizing the utility and importance of those interventions. In early HIV intervention, we stuck to one message per graphic to reduce viewers’ inherent tendency to “satisfice” or “negotiate a happy medium” in their risk reduction. But then, we were actually trying to reduce risk. That’s not what the CDC is really aiming for, so they’re telling you masks and testing are “meh; don’t worry about it.” On purpose.” Given these ongoing manipulations, the fact that the CDC keeps whining about how they want their perceived credibility and public trust to improve seems awfully akin to a guy bemoaning “why haven’t you forgiven me for treating you badly, yet?!” while he’s still smacking you in the face.

P.S. That the graphic very deliberately and overtly lumps masking and testing in together with “the six foot rule” — which has lately been very publicly discredited; on TV, by Congress, etc. — is a huge attempt to get folks to think masking and testing are of similar non-value.

Dr. James Smith writes:

Dear CDC,

Show us your literature review about the effectiveness of handwashing in preventing transmission of a primarily airborne bug.

The CDC admits that Covid is NOT seasonal:

And it’s NOT like the flu:

But they’re still protecting their own interests instead of the human race.

Lady Chuan describes a conversation with a Medical Director in a Neurology Group:

“Outside of his locations are signs that read “No Mask No Entry Until Further Notice.” He shared with me how he used to treat only Parkinson’s patients in his practice but had to contract with other physicians that specialize in the growing number of patients with Multiple Sclerosis, Headache Disorders, and Strokes. He states that the volume of patients had increased by 75% especially over the last two years when Covid mitigations were dropped.

I asked him what made these patients different from thos patients that he would see in the years before Covid. He shared that normally when he would see a patient, there would be a long medical history of symptoms and some ‘decline’ before a referral to him to reach a diagnosis. Now patients are already at advance stages of their disease without any symptomatic medical history. He is also seeing much younger patients which he identified to be in their 20s with stage 3 Parkinson’s which is noticeable to people around them.

I asked if he has witnessed any improvement in these patients after introducing them to a tailored treatment plan. He abruptly interrupted and shook his head, No, and siad that the focus is to stop the progression f the disease and if that also means improvement, then good, but it is still too early to see what Covid is doING to the body. We talked about how often the virus mutates. The fact that vaccines are behind the virus not in front of it. The many symptoms and continued illnesses that peopel experience from the same virus, the unusual amount of deaths, the brain activity, the fact that I say the lose of… mor than infected or impacted by… (like the loss of kidney funtion or the loss of eyesight). He asked if the virus did these things to a person and stopped, or is it doING these things to a person and continuing. He asked if it destroys one room in the house, or does it continue to walk slowly through the house destroying several rooms. He then asked, “Is anything that has been destroyed the same?”

I asked why does he say destroyed and not damaged. He stated that when something is damaged, there is an awareness that it has existed. When something is destroyed, there is no awareness. This is why people can walk around like Covid doesn’t exist.

I asked if his patients mask outside of their normal doctor appointments in his practice. He said, “I would like to think so, but I know that they don’t because that room (and pointed to what is the area in the brain) has been destroyed.” As I was leaving he said, “Keep your brain protected.” He said that should have been the government’s message all along. The mask protects your brain, and if the brain is functioning at full capacity, none of what we see going on would have ever happened.”

Find out more about Covid in this excellent FREE COURSE. And check out this 7 minute interview with BC’s Susan Kuo talk about her patients having longterm issues like getting confused when driving and being repeatedly sick. “Stop using droplet precautions for an airborne virus! Stop minimizing Covid. It’s not a cold. It causes heart attacks, diabetes, cancers…” We have to stop removing masks in hospitals when cases are low — that causes cases to rise. Hospitals and healthcare settings are places that should always have mask mandates. She reports losing 20 patients/year as a family doctor compared to typically losing one who has been fighting cancer. “This is only year four, and we’re seeing so much devastation. . . . I don’t want to wait years to see what happens to my patients; I want to protect them NOW.”

In other news, I recently binge-watched Utopia (the UK version from 2013). It’s along the lines of V for Vendetta with — SPOILERS — a powerful government-connected cabal trying to release a virus in order to get people to get a vaccine which will render them infertile in order to de-populate the population in order to be able to feed people after climate change wipes out crops instead of letting the alternative happen, which will be a nightmare of people starving to death or killing others in order to survive. It’s an interesting ethical conundrum, but their timeline is WAY off — they expect the climate to be stable for another hundred years or so. And why not just release a virus that causes infertility instead of this complicated work around?? (It’s actually even more complicated, but that’s what makes for good fiction.) The show might give people a reason to avoid vaccinations, so we have to remember it’s mainly fictional. Mainly. In real life, the powerful just take advantage of what’s already happening in any way they can.

And here’s me on my daily ride, keeping bugs, exhaust, dust, pollen and viruses out of my lungs — also protecting my brain with a helmet, reflectors, and a bright yellow shirt, and protecting my eyes with aviators.

Y’all masking??

And check out Lola’s video primer on Covid → “If we all try now, we could have a more just world in future. It’s worth fighting for. I don’t think transient consumer pleasures are more important than doing my best to fight for a better society for future generations.” Absolutely!
