#16: Turn a VR Sculpture into a Hologram
Do you like to create in VR? Do you find it a difficult to share your work with your friends and family without isolating yourself (and them) from the experiencing of your art?
VR artist Jazza demonstrates how to share your creations as holograms in his YouTube review of the Looking Glass.
Jazza shows just how easy it is to export a model from a VR sculpting application and load it into your Looking Glass using the 3D Model Importer. Voilà! Just like that, you have a 3D holographic sculpture ready to share, no headset required.
The space in VR to make new worlds and characters is so wonderfully expansive, with near limitless possibility in creative expression. However, up until recently, the only way to experience those spaces in 3D was by strapping on a headset. Now you can create these worlds and experience them in VR and share those experiences easily as holograms in the Looking Glass.
*this is part of our “100 Days of Holograms” series, where we from Looking Glass Factory post one new wonderful or weird (or both!) use for the Looking Glass holographic display each day.
