Bitcoin Cash- What next for ThroughBit users?
Post the split of the Bitcoin blockchain, a new token named Bitcoin Cash(BCH) has been created.
ThroughBit does not endorse this parallel Blockchain.
As is the industry norm, we, at ThroughBit, store users’ Bitcoin with a third party hardware wallet provider for the sake of heightened security. We are entitled to receive 1 Bitcoin Cash token for every Bitcoin we have stored in the wallet. Our stand on Bitcoin Cash notwithstanding, it is our moral obligation to pass on to our users Bitcoin Cash equivalent to the Bitcoin they hold with us, ThroughBit.
We are yet to receive the Bitcoin Cash token in our wallets. We won’t till our service provider provides support for Bitcoin Cash and as such, we do not have a time frame available for support being made available. We are keeping a close track of the happenings and will intimate our users the moment we have a viable time frame.
Safeguarding our users’ best interests is our top priority and hence, we want them to rest assured that we will not cause any delay once the process falls under our control.
