Howard’s Choice Clear Clam Chowder

Ingredients:

• A seat at a good bar serving raw seafood.
• Ketel One & Tonic (Preferably Rain Tree Light ’cause we’re watching the waistline these days.

1. Order a dozen Littlenecks on the Halfshell. Squirt ’em with lemon upon arrival. Add a little Tabasco if you like your chowder on the pale red side.
2. Eat six while crushing your cocktail. Request another.
3. Polish off the next six. Slam the second drink.
4. Eat a cracker. Consider ordering a martini.
