The top five companies are the most admired in their country and in the world (by sector), according to their level of admiration

The most admired companies by industry represent the leading five companies in each sector with the highest number of admiring votes. Companies are listed left to right in order of admirers. (Note, although Ferrari had 100% GlobalRank™, the highest of any automotive company, the number of admirers was not sufficient for inclusion on the sector list).

KEY HIGHLIGHTS:

• American Express is the only American company in the top five global most admired financial services companies.
• 3M is the highest ranked American company outside hi tech and Silicon Valley.
• Delta and Southwest are the highest rated airlines in America.
• In luxury brands, the French dominate with L’Oreal leading the way;
• Zara (Inditex) of Spain is the only non French luxury goods in the top five.
• Apple and Intel are the most admired computer technology companies in the world, followed by Samsung, Huawei, and Microsoft.
• People that admire Emirates, Land Rover and Swatch, believe that high integrity, sustainability and supporting a worthy cause as the main admiration factors.
• Admirers of SpaceX and Land Rover believe in technological innovation and high integrity.
• People that admire Huawei and Royal Bank of Canada rate quality and innovation as the main admiration factors
• Land Rover, Spotify, Femsa, Ferrari and L’Oreal admirers believe in innovation and sustainability.
• People that admire Lego, SAP, Heineken, Statoil ASA, Zara/Inditex, Swatch and Emirates, have the highest admiration for vision and integrity.
