I really believe in taking your health into your own hands and exploring alternative practices. But I also believe that getting regular screenings, pap smears, STD testing and a good pussy exam by a professional is a key part to good vaj health. SO CALL YOUR DOCTOR TODAY!

Sexually active people should get tested for HIV, chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, and Hep B at least once a year. When I have multiple partners, I go at least 2x a year.

The government has the following guidelines about pap smears:

If you’re between 21 and 29, you should get a pap every 3 years

If you’re between 30 and 64, you should get a pap and HPV test together every 5 years or a pap alone every 3 years

If you’re 65 and older, ask your doctor if you can stop getting pap tests

And if you’re experiencing any other symptoms like really painful periods, odors, growths, itchiness or anything out of the usual GO TO THE DOCTOR. If you don’t get the answers you want, go see someone else.

If you don’t have a regular doctor @plannedparenthood is always a good place to start. Comment below with your appointment date! 👇👇👇👇
