Brackathon is Bangladesh’s largest hackathon.

It’s goal is to motivate and encourage Bangladeshi youth to utilize technology to solve some of the country’s biggest challenges.

This year, contestant Shabbir Khan and his team — Eruditech — built an app prototype on Thunkable that took home the grand prize.

The challenge: help schools gather real-time data on student performance and attendance.

With Thunkable, Team Eruditech built an app that utilizes image recognition technology to help track and report student attendance. The app also includes a weekly quiz feature that aggregates individual student performance data, and provides real-time corrections when students answer a question incorrectly.

A demo of the app can be found here.

While building a functional app prototype can take several hours or days with traditional coding, a fully functional app prototype can be built in less than one hour using Thunkable.
