Saigon Notre-Dame don’t need any of my further introduction as it’s already the most iconic place in Saigon, if not Vietnam. However, most of the visitors come to Saigon often visit the site in the morning, take a photo with Saigon Notre-Dame as a proof of “I’ve been in Vietnam!”

Saigon Notre-Dame (Nhà thờ Đức Bà) is more than just a picture, it’s the atmosphere, the “Saigon by night”. I found it very similar to Sydney Opera House or Third Street Promenade of Santa Monica. This area is simply a chill place, where people are sitting around, drinking coconut juice, singing with their friends, and gossip (or sharing) with their friends

There is a huge park with lots of trees and benches right in front of the Reunification Palace, some nice restaurant along Han Thuyen, such as Haage-Dazs and Au Parc offer fine Western foods and drinks, or sitting anywhere in the park with a coconut or Sting Strawberry, Dr Thanh Tea with 10,000 VND ($0.50)

I love this place very much since it’s very relaxing and it’s very Saigon!
