The Best from Evergreen Park: Chris Chelios at Thuzio Executive Club

Chris Chelios and Gentleman’s Cooperative, a refined tailor room and showroom, were a perfect match for our first 2017 TEC event in Chicago. It was the perfect venue for cocktails and conversation. The night featured cigars, a pool table, a couple of bars, and a NHL legend who shared exclusive insight and stories.

He definitely kept members and guests laughing with his one-liners and memorable tales: “Didn’t use my hockey stick to take out teeth, but might have used my elbows a couple times.”

While listening to Chelios and networking with others, members and guests enjoyed drinks from our partners Glenmorangie and Belvedere Vodka. The weather was also on our side. It wasn’t frigid, but a perfect temperature to go outside and smoke a cigar or enjoy a cocktail.

It’s fitting that Chelios named fellow TEC guest Jeremy Roenick as his favorite and best teammate of all time. He played with several other hockey heroes: “I got to play with the best three goalies of all-time: Ed Belfour, Dominik Hasek, and Patrick Roy.”

Over all the night was an energetic and memorable experience for our TEC members. It was a great way to kick off 2017 in Chicago!
