Argh, okay. At 5v5, the LA Kings controlled possession 58 percent of the time, but they lost the game 4–3, because life sucks and then Patrick Kane scores a go-ahead goal.

A lot of people are at fault for the various costly mistakes in this game. Some key names are Willie Mitchell and Trevor Lewis. Anze Kopitar took a dumb penalty that led to a power play goal against. Goaltender Jonathan Quick did his part to add to the suck by letting in a shot from Ben Smith that wasn’t even really a shot anymore. Poke check attempts are so good until they’re so bad.

Jeff Carter, Tyler Toffoli, and Tanner Pearson started the game getting all the scoring chances, but by the end of the night, they’d all been on ice for at least one goal against — three for Carter, eesh — and no goals for. Yeah, take another bite of that shit luck sandwich. Mmmmmm, Hepatitis A.

All-in-all the Kings played really very well. They had the lead twice but ultimately didn’t get it done, so now everyone gets another Game 7 on the road. There’s a 50 percent chance that the Kings win and a 50 percent chance that they lose. Ugh, I’m bored already, who cares? Have you participated in the #JustinWilliamsLockScreen fun on Twitter yet? Be part of the craze!

Oh, and look at this GIF of Dustin Brown twirling after Alec Martinez’s power play goal, because we can’t stop laughing at it.
