Get to know the members of the thx! core team
Put together several people coming from various backgrounds — venture capital, systems engineering and software development, government, marketing and creative arts, blockchain technologies — in a room, all of them sharing a burning desire to do good and change the way we appreciate and give credit to others. This group will come up with a solution supported by the latest most trusted and transparent tech.
And it has already happened. The anecdote above is not at all hypothetical. It’s a description of the meeting of minds that’s made thx! possible.

Munetaka Takahashi
Chairman
Serial entrepreneur Munetaka has at least two decades’ worth of experience in leading successful IPO exits and M&As. For the longest time, he has been a founder and managing partner at MT Capital Partners, a venture capital firm with a presence in Tokyo, Taipei, and Vancouver. He runs fintech startup BANQ Corporation in conjunction with thx!
Munetaka holds a bachelor of laws and an MBA from Chuo University and Thunderbird School of Global Management, respectively, and certification from the University of Oxford.
Yasuo Yamao
CTO
Yasuo brings his expansive technical expertise to the table ranging from systems to software to blockchain technologies. He is the CEO of Cereja Technology, which offers website development and marketing services in several Asian countries. He is also a former Senior Executive Officer handling the Commerce Division and Software Division at Livedoor (now LINE).
Yasuo holds an international relations degree from the University of Tokyo.
Jun Takeda
Director of Government Relations
Jun is the Director General of Global Education Foundation. Previously, he served the Government of Japan as a senior official. A newfound passion has led him to blockchain technologies, an enabler that could help make a positive impact on the interactions among people.
Jun holds a biology degree from the University of Tokyo.
Tet Wada
Director of Communications
An actor and producer, Tet frequently travels in Asia, Europe, and North America. His fluency in Japanese, English, Spanish, and Mandarin Chinese complements his job. In New York, he became the first Japanese male model at Q Models Management. He is also a former marketing manager at Donna Karan New York.
Tet graduated from the Baruch College of the City University of New York (CUNY).
Mai Kobayashi
Director of Marketing
The founder and CEO of Hauoli Consulting Firm, Mai is in charge of introducing thx! to its target markets. Prior to this, she has been engaging in leading and management roles in various projects for Accenture and McCann Erickson.
Mai graduated with a bachelor of laws degree from Keio University.
JJ Ikegame
Chief Engineer
JJ has a wealth of experience in the blockchain space, as a former blockchain analyst, a backend programmer, and a founding member at Quoine/Quoinex, the first global crypto trading platform to be licensed in Japan. Addicted to cycling, he works remotely as while traveling the world on his bike.
JJ graduated with an economics degree from Capilano University.
