Those who’ve been paying attention to our channels might have already seen a few pop up; community rewards! In the last few weeks we’ve shared them with community members, rewarding them to connect us with VC and Angel investors and attending our latest Community Update and AMA session. In the article we’ll explain some of the mechanics behind these rewards and what you can expect in the future.

Unite the community and drive results 📈

As we explained in the use cases we published, our software enables you to unite your fans and supporters around a shared expression of value; your own token! Now that our Community Incentives token allocation has freed up, it is time for us to put our $THX where our mouth is and do the same for our community in order to stimulate behavior that benefits us all!

Our dashboard enables you to easily create and configure rewards for your community.

We’ll be creating small (mostly automated) bounties for engagements that align with our current goals like spreading awareness around our current Seed Round on social channels, onboarding new users to THX Network and interacting with our social media channels.

Rewarding authentic engagement 💍✨

In order to prevent misuse of these systems, setting up rewards for authentic engagements is key. Automated rewards for retweets or liking videos are more prone to being gamed, so for now we’ll reward positive engagement on social media manually. New followers, retweeters or active Discord users can receive a DM with a reward link after engaging, as a token of our appreciation.

In other instances, rewards are automated but limited to a certain number of users that can claim them. As we want to thank you for reading this article, the first 10 users who click this link can claim 100 $THX! We hope this will incentivize you to check our upcoming articles for any reward links as well.

Where are these funds coming from? 🤔💸

As described in our tokenomics II article, we’ve allocated 20% of the created $THX tokens for Community Incentives, like our Sales Mining program. Spread out over a period of 5 years, this means that we’ve allocated 4.000.000 $THX per year.

The token pool used for the Community Rewards has been filled up with 20000 $THX so far, which has been purchased with our private funds, against market price. When these rewards prove to be successful, we’ll bring the continuation of this pilot to a vote on Discourse like we did with the sales mining program.

Moving forward ⏭

Expect to see more and more rewards in our ecosystem. There are a few links hidden between our recently updated pages already, but we won’t tell exactly where. All we can say is that reading the documentation might provide you with more value than just knowledge… ;)

If you’ve got questions or ideas regarding these rewards, reach out on our Discord or Telegram group. We’re always happy to help out or hear your thoughts. Hope to see you there!
