Meet our community advisors
The THX team is happy to welcome Kirsten Wagenaar and Peter Staal, the co-founders of Bind, as THX advisors. Their combined knowledge and experience in community building and strategy will ensure that THX is effectively adopted by communities around the world.
To get the most out of the THX solution, communities need to know how to best integrate THX into their strategy. Developing, testing and refining strategic plans needs to include the THX API and how members can benefit from our solution throughout all community growth stages.
Moreover, using THX tokens to reward member behavior has been termed gamification 3.0 by our team. It solves the issues currently faced by gamification, including the lack of real-life value in points and badges. By properly integrating THX into community building and using tokens with real value, communities will stimulate engagement and sustainability.
Our two advisors will ensure that we can properly guide communities in the integration of THX in community building and strategy.
Let’s talk a little more about Kirsten
Kirsten received an education in psychology, human factors. She has over 10 years of experience as a community management specialist for companies such as the Chamber of Commerce, Frankwatching, and Valtech. She is also the founder of the Dutch Association for Community Managers.
She is now the co-founder and director of Bind, a leading community-building consultancy that helps companies like KPN, Eneco, Schiphol, Flora Holland, Huawei, and many more.

Let’s talk a little more about Peter
Peter has a post-doctorate in journalism. He began his career as an adviser in communications and marketing for Erasmus University before settling into multiple roles in community management and building for companies like Zorgverzekeraars Nederland, Rijkswaterstraat, and T-Mobile.
He has over 10 years of experience in community building and implementing communities and intranets into organisations, which lead to his role as the co-founder of Bind, a well-known community building consultancy.
