Presenting the Slack app 🎁
We’re excited to showcase the early version of the integration between THX and Slack. The alpha 0.1.0 version of THX includes up to 40 functionalities, many of which are now also available through the Slack interface.
A few feature highlights specific to the Slack app;
- easily connect your THX wallet with Slack by scanning a QR code
- list existing reward rules with a simple Slack command
- reward Slack users right from the chat interface, including custom rewards
- users claim rewards by scanning a QR code with their mobile phone
Naturally, just like in the standalone release, a two way peg between Rinkeby testnet and Loom’s Basechain, results in fast and free transactions within the dApp and Slack.
Our aim is to integrate with popular software solutions and add value to an existing user base. This eases adoption, benefiting from network effects instead of battling them. We believe Slack’s wide usage and enthusiastic user base provides a great opportunity to bring new benefits to an already excellent product; like the pooling of funds with your fellow Slack members.
Slack community chapter kickoff in Amsterdam
On Thursday March 26th our team will be joining the Slack platform community event in Amsterdam. The event connects developers, designers, product managers and other Slack users interested in sharing their experiences.
The meetup is led by Alla Pavlova, tech enthusiast and tech community builder.
It features Joshua Hoffman as notable speaker. Joshua is a 20+ years experienced engineer and tech leader. He has worked at RedHat, Tumblr, SoundCloud and right now is building teams at Blendle.
