Most people are so concerned about growing old. We measure success by the number of years we have lived but is that really what matters?

The oldest man in the Bible is Methuselah. He lived to be 969 years old, but all that is said about him is that he died. His long life is mentioned briefly in Genesis, but there’s little else to remember him by. He lived a prolonged life and then died.

That was the end of his story.

What’s my point?

My point is that living a long life does not guarantee that one will make a lasting impact.

I haven’t heard of Methuselah recently, but Jesus is still making headlines

Living With Purpose

The person who live their lives with purpose may die young, but they are not easily forgotten.

Jesus lived only 33 years, yet he changed the world. He taught love, compassion, and forgiveness. He inspired countless people to treat others with kindness.
