A farmer went out to sow his seed.

Some fell along the path as he was scattering the seed, and the birds came and ate it up.

Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil.

Other seeds fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants.

Still, other seeds fell on good soil, where they produced a crop.

But this famous Bible story was never about seeds.

It’s about knowledge.

For a lack of knowledge, people are destroyed.

If I had the knowledge about the Kingdom of God, I wouldn’t have found myself in some of the messed up places that I found myself. I would know God and his plans for my life.

If I knew God sooner, then I would know myself sooner. I would know that I was made for so much more than what I settled all those years for. I would love myself if I knew my true identity.

If I had loved myself, I wouldn’t have allowed people to treat me the way they did. They could only love me as much as I loved myself.
