Chapstick: Useful and An Excellent Last-Minute Gift Idea

Winter means chapped lip season is in its prime time. It is vital this time of year to invest in some good chapsticks. I like to have a few to put in my most used purses when I brave the brutal cold and brisk air. Plus, for those of you still gift shopping, a couple of high-quality chapsticks are a great last-minute gift and a fun stocking stuffer.

Below I have rounded up a few of my favorites that vary in forms and price points. If you all decide to purchase one of these options, I hope they work wonders for your pout, as they have with mine.

The chapstick pictured below is a staple carried by most drugstores. The product is a staple for several reasons. For starters, it works well. It is a chapstick that is universally known for helping all kinds of lips. It comes in a small stick packaging, easy to fit into most purses, pouches, and pockets. Not to mention it comes in a variety of lovely smelling flavors. I am partial to sweet-smelling scents, so my top picks are cherry and strawberry. You can purchase these two flavors here and here.

The Cosmedix Rescue balm is a splurge. However, as an owner of this product, I can say it has worked amazingly for my lips. What is handy about this balm is that it can also help dry skin, killing two birds with one stone. I also adore this balm’s formula because the smell is sweet. After all, it has a cherry extract packed with Vitamin C, one of the most important antioxidants to improve skin. Since it also comes in an enormous container, there is a lot of product, and it will last a long time. You can buy it here.

Many rave about this lip mask because it makes a big difference in improving your lips. The lip mask is by the famous Korean brand Laniege, known for making items with impeccable quality that achieve results. Not only does this lip mask help chapped lips, but the packaging it comes in is cute, complete with a tiny applicator brush making it easy to apply. Even better is that now it comes in many different flavors. I got into this lip mask when Laneige only made it in the berry flavor, which is still the one I prefer because I love the pretty coral pink color of the container. You can pick the kind of lip mask you want here.

What I love most about this BeautyBio serum is that I have noticed a difference in my lips since I started using it. The serum helps combat dry lips, but it also contains hyaluronic acid and collagen to help improve signs of aging and plumpness. There are times I bought overpriced products that were a big disappointment. Even though this serum is a bit more than the average chapstick, it does deliver, so you get your money’s worth. The other characteristics of this serum I appreciate are the glossy texture that feels luxe against my lips. Also, the hints of pink and sparkle add a fun, girly element, which you all know I love. You can order this serum here.

What chapsticks and lip balms do you use? Is there a specific brand you prefer? If yes, why?

Thanks so much for reading.

XOXO
