As we get closer and closer to Christmas and New Year’s, we need to make sure that we have our holiday outfits prepared. Not to mention, people are actually dressing up this year and going to in-person holiday parties again, which can happen all month long. It helps to have fashion inspiration this time of year. That is why I decided to discuss one thing I am coveting lately for fancy events, glittery rompers.

While most opt for the conventional sequin dress for their holiday uniform, I admire how many brands in recent years have created a unique take on party dressing by designing sequin rompers. These fun pieces bring holiday cheer and are a good conversation starter because you will probably stand out amongst the other traditional sequin dresses.

Here are some of the ones I have been eyeing.

The Christa Romper by Free People brings me joy because it is everything I want in a holiday outfit. It is festive, whimsical, and puts me in the mood to sip a cocktail. Free People is also known for having good quality clothes. Last year, I bought a few sequin tops from Free People for the holidays, and I was highly impressed with the craftsmanship behind these garments. Many Free People pieces I own have lasted for quite some time. The other thing I love about these rompers is the color options they come in. I adore the navy one, the gold one, and the pink one. If I were not trying to watch my pennies, I would splurge, buying all three in a heartbeat. These pieces would also work well for other special occasions throughout the year. You can view and purchase these rompers here, here, and here.

As mentioned in previous blog posts, Unique Vintage is one of my favorite brands, which is why I was happy they designed a glitter romper for their holiday collection. They are a retro-inspired brand, but they also incorporate modern trends, and it is interesting to see how they create more contemporary items. The glitter romper pictured below is ideal for parties for a couple of reasons. First of all, it was brilliant that they made the romper with short sleeves because it will help you be less hot on the dance floor. Secondly, the color choice of burgundy was also wise because burgundy is a great color for fall and winter gatherings, not just for the holidays. I could easily see myself wearing this romper at Thanksgiving or even for a fabulous winter wine night with friends. You can view and purchase this romper here.

What do you think of glitter rompers? What are you planning to wear to your holiday soirees?

Thanks so much for reading!

XOXO
