One of The Best Skincare Products I own
Ever since early high school, I have been religious about taking care of my skin. Over the years, I gained considerable knowledge about fighting breakouts and achieving optimal protection against the sun.
With the pandemic, unfortunately, not quite over, I am still working from home. Since I primarily work from home, I do not go out as much, and I am not wearing makeup as much as I once did.
These changes in my lifestyle have resulted in me spending more time and money on my skincare routine instead of cosmetics. I find myself wearing acne medication during the day, not just at night. I also have had the time to experiment with different kinds of face masks.
Amidst investing in new products, there is one holy grail product that I swear by, the doTerraHD Clear Essential Oil Topical Blend. I have used this product for years, and it continuously helps me fight acne.
I first discovered doTerra Essential Oils years ago when I lived in Los Angeles when a friend brought me to an essential oil party. An essential oil party is when a representative from an essential oil company, such as doTerra, comes to someone’s house and guides people as they test out essential oils.
It was at this party that I discovered the magic of doTerra’s Clear Blend Topical essential oil. At this party is when I also got hooked on aromatherapy in general. To this day, I preach the importance of using lavender and eucalyptus essential oils to help manage my stress, calm my anxiety and help me fall asleep.
DoTerra’s Clear Blend Essential oil, pictured below, is all-natural and works on almost any skin type. It comes in a small ten-milliliter bottle that is easy to pack on vacations. The essential oil is also easy to apply to the skin because the bottle has a rollerball, similar to roll-on perfume bottles.
I have been successful in using the oil in my nightly regimen. Before bed, I wash my face with a cleanser and apply the oil to problematic areas. I have even used the product during my morning routine. When I finish using my sunblock and other serums, I roll the Clear Blend onto troublesome spots. I can honestly say that this oil has calmed down my breakouts and helped make my skin clearer and more luminous.
Although I need to warn you all, the product is pungent. I have to be extra cautious not to utilize the Clear Blend when I am around my family because they do not tolerate strong smells.
There have been times I had to dispose of scented candles because my family preferred a more subtle scent. Please keep the smell in mind when applying it to your skin and proceed with caution while around other people.
Despite its pungent smell, I still use the product because it advances my skincare. To me, the saying “beauty is pain” rings especially true when it comes to the Clear Blend oil.
