Is »The Economist« really campaigning against Donald Trump with billboard ads?

This tweet with the simple claim »Donald Trump« (read: Don’t!) in white text on Economist-red ground has been retweeted more than 5,000 times so far:

But as soon as the tweet became viral, some journalists were wondering why there would be just one photo of such a massive campaign.

After some research the origin of this photo seems to be known now. It’s a mockup everyone can use with the Android app »Billboard Photo Frame«:

You can clearly see that all details in the photo are the same, just the frame is cropped in a different manner.
