What is Ticktory?

Ticktory enables the secure sale of personalized tickets on the first and second market through blockchain technology.

Customers (add-on content), artists (multiple financial participation) and event agencies (market figures) benefit equally from the digitalization of the value chain.

Ticket providers have missed the leap to secure digitized tickets. Current ticketing solutions have an outdated business model and can not deliver valid market figures. First blockchain solutions struggle with a lack of low-threshold access to blockchain. Ticktory is solving this problem by offering:

Concerts tickets are among the most desired and sought-after pieces of merchandise for consumers and, as such, their value on the secondary market is immense. Unfortunately, however, fraud is rife. Securing a ticket sold on the second market can be nearly impossible; even when it does arrive, it is often counterfeit.

These problems are all about to be solved by Ticktory. Through the use of blockchain technology, we create an environment in which ticket transactions can occur with trust and transparency.

The customer is able to buy a ticket on the first or second market that he/she knows is 100% real. All transparent on the Ethereum-blockchain. He/she also receives access to additional content that matches the booked ticket and offers exclusive insights.

(3) Traceable tickets

The bought tickets are identity bound, so an event organizer knows for sure, who visits his/her event, even when the attendee booked his/her ticket on the second market. We see massive upside in a covid and post-covid world, where identity matching matters or even more, becomes increasingly a requirement to be able to host an event.

Artists and event agencies get insights into the first, second and even third market data. They can also provide additional content like an after movie or exclusive insights like a backstage interview. Artist and agencies benefit the most in participating with each sale or resale of their tickets in the first and second market — and it’s all completely automatic.

Whats next?

We are developing the MVP till end Q1 2021 and will run a friendly user trial in Q2 2021, rollout of the first real implementation will be in Q3 2021. We are looking out to attract more customers in the areas of sport-entertainment, theater, art-galleries, museums, conferences and festivals.
