Turning values and vision into an $8 million investment

In 2017, Myrna Gillis came to the Arcview Investor Forum with a pitch presentation and a $1,500 investment from the province of Nova Scotia she used to make a pitch video.

Her aquaponic cannabis company, Aqualitas, left Austin, Texas with an $8 million investment from Arcview members while also making strategic relationships with its investors. Gillis called Arcview a “gamechanger” and “jet fuel for our success.”

In 2018 she was back at Arcview Investor Forum to raise her next round and spoke to us about one of the most important things she did with investors: be authentic, and stick to your vision and values.
