I propose this as the new symbol of San Francisco, that self-proclaimed “Most Innovative Place On Earth”.

San Francisco, you’re pathetic. All your gourmet food trucks, hipster cafes, yoga studios, twee disruptions, self-absorbed San Francisco exceptionalism, and artisanal coffee shops can’t hide the callous emptiness at the heart of your existence.

I wouldn’t get so exercised about it if this weren’t the sort of thing I see multiple times a day on my daily commute nowadays…
