Not long ago Google Ventures published the 3 Hour Brand Sprint. A really fantastic article giving great in depth insight into a process that can be practiced by teams for getting started on branding. Many of the same brand exercises are employed by ourselves in our brand positioning workshop.

A crucial benefit we’ve drawn from GV’s model is the timing. We’ve found time boxing exercises to be extremely rewarding in gaining insight faster. Keeping each exercise short maintains pace in the session and also means we can get through all areas of investigation in 1 session. Quick enough to keep energy levels up, and with enough time for us to glean the information required to begin building a purpose driven brand with meaning.
