Nothing is more powerful than a strong community behind a game. While our focus was developing the game, we wanted to start communicating publicly and rallying people to our project.

To do so, we had to define what strategy we should adopt. Analyzing a massive amount of content online made our minds set on one specific communication angle: To be REAL. Let’s communicate truthfully to the general public by being transparent will turn people around. In a current market that seems to hit new bottoms every week and new crazy scams continuing to push the market down, let’s be what people want us to be: honest, not afraid to be vulnerable, and transparent.

Twitter & Discord came to life.

Less than 2 Months ago, we decided to start becoming active on Twitter. Our goal was to start feeding content about our production, our days at the office, who is new to the team, what new assets we have created… We started small but increased marketing efforts every week. Then we decided to open a discord account to communicate more openly with all of you. With 4 weeks of Twitter posts, we have drawn more than 800 people to our discord server through organic reach in less than 24 hours. We are proud of this small start in creating an authentic, loyal and organic community. Our community will grow fast as they will be the essence of our success, participating in a very inclusive production process ;-).

How will we structure our discord server?

Roles are essentials to a community, and those are the ones we have created for you:

  • OG Genesis

They’re the first 500 members we hosted on the server. We will be able to count on these first active members to help us scale the community by spreading the word after witnessing the project’s growth and potential.

  • Time Rookie

They should be invested deeply into the project since they’ll have completed the first set of tasks. Once people get this role, they’ll be granted access to “The Game” category.

  • Squad Leader

The Squad Leaders will be our first “ambassadors”: spreading the word further than “Time Rookies” with a more significant amount of invites to gain the role.

  • Architect

The Architects are the artist of the community. Drawing incredible fan art or vast chunks of lore. They’ll be rewarded for their commitment since we’re aware not everyone can stack tons of invites or spend hours in the chats.

  • Commander

The Commanders are what come closer to the in-game leaders that will emerge naturally. We know guilds are an essential part of the community, and we’re ready to give them a voice & weapons. The Commanders are the guild leaders that brought their troops to Time Breachers.

  • Time Hitman

The Time Hitman is the “pro gamer”, the “try-harder” you’ll find in every community. They’re the ones who’ll have completed objectives simply because they’re here to get the job done. Invites, chatting, playtests, lore contribution, and more. They did it all!

Without hammering you with a lot of words, we created two tables to explain what each role-earning process requires from a community member and what it grants:

What type of content should you expect from Time Breachers?

First, we will create two articles a month starting in January:

  1. Tech Production Update
  2. Game Design & Art Production Update

In addition, we will create AMAs, live community sessions on discord & Twitter, release private and exclusive content on discord. Of course, we will continue posting on Twitter and increasing the frequency of news.

Web3 culture is unique, and let’s be inspired by it in our journey. In February, we will release complete documentation on the following topics:

  • In-game economics and Tokenomics
  • NFT Tokenomics Strategy
  • Emphasis on the Token mechanisms

Why are we releasing that public before the game launch? Because we want to hear your opinion. We want the general public to audit, comment, and make our work evolve into a better version. Many very talented crypto-savvy individuals are very active, and in opposition to informing you, we wish to BUILD TOGETHER.

We will collect all positive and negative comments and use them to improve our work and put in motion a publicly reviewed tokenomics. Two of our dearest advisors will participate in that specific task:

  • Alexis Direr: PhD in Economic sciences & financial macroeconomics. Alexis is an economics professor at Orléans Faculty of economics (France)
  • Vincent Danos: Ex-Research Director at CNRS (French National Centre for Scientific Research), Co-founder of Mangrove.exchange, and an important contributor to Morpho.

Before that, If you remember, we pushed on Twitter we were seeking a narrative designer. We will create a poll on Discord sharing the narrative designer tests and let the community decide who is “The” better one. The narrative designer test is a 1500 words elevator story to explain the birth of the multiverse and the uchronic shift. When will we share this? Next week ;-)
